Ice in the Village

The wildly popular ‘Ice in the Village’ event will be taking place once again at Olde Mistick Village from Saturday, February 15th through Monday, February 17th Starting at 12 noon on Saturday, Olde Mistick Village will transform into a winter wonderland with glistening ice sculptures on display throughout.
Sea as Muse
Now through July 27, 2025
Where do artists find their inspiration? In ancient Greece, the Muses were supernatural beings who inspired artists, scholars, and writers to create their works. The upcoming exhibit, Sea as Muse, explores the ways that the sea provided a similar inspiration for decorative arts in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Opening in September 2021, the exhibit showcases fine silver trophies and woodcarvings from the vast collections of Mystic Seaport Museum. Dolphins and mermaids, seaweed and sea urchins, fast ships and ocean waves—visitors will find many delightful details like these, inspired by sea life and life on the seas.
Cabin Fever Charity Cook-off

Olde Mistick Village will once again host its signature annual charity event, the 20th annual Cabin Fever Charity Chowder Cook-Off. It will take place on Saturday, February 22, from 12 noon to 4pm. Awards and check presentation ceremony will be at 5pm. This four-hour event will bring nearly10,000 patrons to Olde Mistick Village where they will enjoy dozens of delicious, savory, and hearty chowders from many local restaurants and eateries. Over 26,000 cups of chowder will be served!
