Mystic Seaport Museum

The Mystic Seaport Museum was founded in 1929 and has been a large part of the Mystic community ever since. Olde Mistick Village has been a part of Mystic for nearly 50 years. Jerry and Joyce Olson, along with their father, Martin Olson, started construction on the 1720-style Colonial village in 1972. Today, residents from many different states and parts of the world come to visit Olde Mistick Village and take in the beauty that has been a focal point in Mystic for many decades. The Whaler’s Inn

The Whaler’s Inn is the perfect place to stay if you are looking for a hotel with some historic charm. This property has been a part of Mystic for over 125 years having been converted into a hotel in 1969. The owners have been sure to preserve historic details throughout updates to the building.
