Mystic Knotwork has been family owned and operated in downtown Mystic for over 50 years. America’s First Knot Shop was recognized by Martha Stewart during the American Made Summit in 2014, this unique business has set out to keep the nautical knotwork tradition alive. Mystic Seaport Museum

The Mystic Seaport Museum was founded in 1929 and has been a large part of the Mystic community ever since. Visitors are able to hear maritime history from craftspeople and historians as they enjoy a day at the museum. The museum offers a wide variety of activities such as toy boat building and the “Home Port” family activity center. Olde Mistick Village 

Olde Mistick Village has been a part of Mystic for nearly 50 years. Jerry and Joyce Olson, along with their father, Martin Olson, started construction on the 1720-style Colonial village in 1972. Today, residents from many different states and parts of the world come to visit Olde Mistick Village and take in the beauty that has been a focal point in Mystic for many decades. The Whaler’s Inn

The Whaler’s Inn is the perfect place to stay if you are looking for a hotel with some historic charm. This property has been a part of Mystic for over 125 years having been converted into a hotel in 1969. The owners have been sure to preserve historic details throughout updates to the building.

Mystic Pizza

Mystic Pizza has been a part of the Mystic community for almost 50 years! Featuring delicious pizza made with a homemade secret sauce recipe, Mystic Pizza will not disappoint. The movie, Mystic Pizza, starring Julia Roberts, was inspired by and filmed right here in Mystic.
