Connecticut Summer at the Museum, 2022

After last year’s success, Governor Ned Lamont is bringing back the Connecticut Summer at the Museum program! This program offers free admission to Connecticut children 18 and under (and one accompanying adult) to the Mystic Aquarium and Mystic Seaport! Take advantage of the free admission now through September 5th!

Mystic Aquarium is proud to participate in the 2022 CT Summer at the Museum program. Advanced tickets are required, as quantities are limited, and tickets do sell out!  To allow the most people a chance to take advantage of this program, tickets will be made available three weeks in advance, and a new week of tickets will be released each Monday until the end of the program.

Mystic Seaport Museum is thrilled to again be participating in the program, to allow children and families a chance to experience the Museum and benefit from the programs, activities, and exhibits. The Museum has committed to providing access to all Connecticut children for the entire duration of this program. There will be no limit to the number of free visits families may enjoy during the program, nor will there be designated time slots for visitation. Participants are asked to fill out a brief online form and reserve their free admission tickets in advance of their visit.

Connecticut Summer at the Museum is made possible through an investment from the federal COVID-19 recovery funding Connecticut is receiving from the American Rescue Plan Act. The program is administered by the Connecticut Department of Economic and Community Development’s Office of the Arts in partnership with Connecticut Humanities. Eligibility for the program requires children and adults to be Connecticut residents. Proof of Connecticut residency may be requested upon entry.
