Halloween Happenings in Mystic 2022
Halloween is right around the corner! By now the kids have their costumes ready to go, and are bursting with excitement! If you’re looking for some fun, family friendly Halloween events in Mystic, we have all the details here!
Jack-o-Lantern Walk
Mystic Seaport’s annual Jack-o-Lantern Walk is back! This year, the event is being held October 25th through the 29th, from 5:30-8:30. Stroll along some of the darker, often overlooked portions of the museum property and enjoy the spectacle of several hundred lit jack-o-lanterns on display! Then play
a lawn game, enjoy some live music, warm up by a roaring fire, create a fall-themed craft, or take a spooky guided tour in which you learn about the darker side of life in a 19th century seaport town. Wear your favorite family-friendly costume and get in the Halloween spirit! Tickets are available now!
Mystic Halloween Parade
The Mystic Halloween Parade & Trick or Treat is back for 2022! Join us on Sunday, October 30 from 1:00-3:00pm. The parade will kick off at 1:00 at Pizzetta on Water St. and ends at the Mystic Fire Department. After the parade, kids are invited to stay at Mystic Firehouse to enjoy crafts, mummy wrapping, snacks and a community Trunk or Treat! This is truly a community event with the Mystic Fire Department, the Greater Mystic Chamber of Commerce, Stonington Police, the Groton police, and the Groton and Stonington High School communities all pitching in.
Trick or Treat in Olde Mistick Village
The Halloween tradition at Olde Mistick Village continues! Bring your little ghosts and goblins, princesses and pirates, to OMV for safe and fun trick-or-treating! The shops will welcome costumed kids with yummy treats! Bring your costumed pup, too! This event is free to attend, and runs from 4-6pm. We can’t wait to see everyone in their costumes!
Community Trick or Treat at the Mystic Seaport
On Monday, October 31, kids of all ages (and their families!) are invited to participate in Mystic Seaport Museum’s free Community Trick or Treat event! Little ghosts, wizards, sailors, and super heroes can trick or treat through the historic Shipbuilding Village. Please enter through the North Laneway (there will be costumed staff to welcome you). No registration required! Event runs from 3pm-6pm. See you there!
