Holiday Events at Olde Mistick Village
The holidays are a magical time in Mystic! As the temperatures fall and the year nears its end, Mystic is aglow with shimmering lights, festive decorations, and seasonal cheer. Olde Mistick Village may be one of the merry-est spots in town! Here are a few of our favorite annual holiday events to check out here at OMV.
Holiday Lights Spectacular
The Holiday Lights Spectacular returns to Olde Mistick Village! The largest holiday light display in southern New England is FREE to the public and will run from November 18 through the end of January, 2023. Over a half-million lights will decorate the Olde Mystic Village square of shops and restaurants for families and holiday enthusiasts to enjoy. Parking is also free. Stroll around the Village with your leashed pet even after stores and restaurants are closed.
Holiday Carnival
The Holiday Carnival at Olde Mistick Village returns for 2022! Saturday December 4th, from 12-4pm, come down to OMV for some family friendly holiday fun! There will be carolers in the village, along with a brass band playing holiday favorites! Santa Claus will also be making an appearance! And what would our carnival be without Santa’s Workshop Children’s Gift Store?! Santa will be setting up shop in the Meetinghouse as a gift store for children to buy gifts for their family and friends. The workshop will be stocked with gifts generally priced at $5 or less. Be sure to stop by for this special holiday tradition!
Festival of Lights
On December 9th, experience the magic of the holiday season from 4:00 to 9:00 pm for the annual Festival of Lights. Come stroll through walkways brilliantly lit by thousands of luminaries. Shops will be open late to do some Christmas shopping! With live entertainment and complimentary treats in the Meeting House, there’s something for the whole family to enjoy!
